What to consider

  • High blood pressure, also known as hypertension, is a common condition that can lead to serious health complications if left undiagnosed or uncontrolled. Our pharmacy provides a convenient NHS service to help monitor and manage your blood pressure.

    During your consultation:

    • A pharmacist will measure your blood pressure and discuss your results.

    • You will receive guidance on lifestyle changes to help manage your blood pressure.

    • If your readings are high, the pharmacist may offer Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM), where a device records your blood pressure over 24 hours for a more accurate assessment.

    • Based on the results, you may be referred to your GP for further assessment or treatment if required.

This service is free for eligible patients and is designed to make monitoring your blood pressure easy, safe, and effective.

  • We provide tailored pharmacy support to care homes, helping ensure residents receive their medications safely and effectively. Our services include supplying original packaged medicines with MAR charts, offering 24/7 advice and delivery, and providing accredited staff training in medication management. With years of experience, our pharmacy team works closely with care homes to improve medicine safety, reduce errors, and support residents’ health and wellbeing.

Contact us to learn more or to sign up for our services.

  • The community dosage system is designed for patients who take multiple medications or may have difficulty remembering to take them on time. The pharmacy arranges your medicines into an easy-to-follow weekly pack, supporting safe administration and improving adherence.

This service is particularly beneficial for elderly patients managing complex medication routines. By organising weekly pill trays, the pharmacy helps reduce missed doses, prevent medication wastage, and ensure safe, consistent use.

Eligibility for this service is assessed with you, your carer, and sometimes your prescriber. Please speak to a member of our team if you are interested in participating.

  • Get a new or ongoing supply of the contraceptive pill without needing to visit your GP. Your pharmacist will advise if this service is right for you.
