When you come in for your MenACWY vaccination, our pharmacist will first review your medical history and ensure the vaccine is safe for you.
The vaccine is administered as a single injection into the upper arm. After the injection, you may experience mild side effects such as soreness at the injection site or a low-grade fever, which are normal and short-lived.
Once vaccinated, you will receive a certificate of vaccine administration, which is required for entry into Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, as well as seasonal workers.

Individuals who have previously had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to the MenACWY vaccine or any of its ingredients.
Anyone currently experiencing a moderate to severe illness with a high fever should postpone vaccination until they have recovered.
