Prescription dispensing – NHS and Private – We dispense both NHS and private prescriptions and you can talk in confidence to our pharmacist on how best to take your medicines.

We provide a full dispensing service for medicines and appliances. In addition to this service, patients also benefit from advice about their medication and compliance aids are provided where appropriate.

In line with new regulations all dispensary procedures are documented with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

In order to maximise the pharmacist's contact time with the patients and to enable them to perform other services, our dispensary team consists of Accredited Checking Technicians and fully qualified Dispensing Technicians.

We initiate all appropriate training for staff in order to ensure that the pharmacist is appropriately supported to focus on maximising patient contact.

To use this service you are required to register with us, we must have the legal UK prescription form in our possession before we are able to dispense your medication.
As a registered UK pharmacy we are able to dispense NHS and private prescriptions quickly and efficiently and deliver the medication to your door.

Repeat Dispensing - If your surgery are able to produce repeatable prescriptions we can hold a batch of up to 12 months prescriptions on your behalf and supply these to you when you require them as they become due.

Medication use reviews – A medicines use review is available to all our regular clients.
It's a service designed to help you get the most out of your medicines, you will have a one to one consultation with the pharmacist. You will be able to learn what your medicines are for how best to take them and talk about any side effects you may be experiencing. This consultation is best done face to face in the pharmacy, though arrangements could be made for patients that are housebound to have a consultation that is not in the pharmacy.

Travel and holiday advice - If you are planning to travel or go on holiday we can help you and your family plan for the trip. We can advise you on sun protection as well as prevention of (and remedies for) insect bites, tummy upsets and other holiday maladies.

If you are travelling further afield, we can advise you on vaccinations and malaria tablets. Whatever your destination, you can rest assured that we can help you with all of your holiday and travel plans
